My cousin and her friend are staying this weekend. My cousin brought up a huge bag of wicked sea pottery that she collected for me so I will be adding some new pieces soon! I really like the unusual bottle stopper in the bottom photo...I will be adding it to my personal collection!!
I couldn't resist posting these images of a lovely custom order I just had for Tyler at Corduroy, a surfing gallery and boutique, in Portland, USA.She wanted a rainbow necklace for the opening night of a rainbow exhibition they have planned there. If your in the area you should check it out! I will also be displaying my work there soon, and I'm busy preparing a range for them. Goodbye, untill next time...

I forgot to mention the lovely craft fair I did at the weekend in the grounds of a church @ Brighton, near Churchill Square. There was a dog show, pogo stick competition, Pimms, BBQ and cake!!! What more would you want!!! We were sat outside all day so I worked on my tan, and managed to get a lovely wire wrapped necklace tan line!!! Doh!!
I have just been so busy again I have completely forgot to pick a winner for the sea glass necklace giveaway! I went on the trusty random number generator and just picked Lauren as the winner! Congratulations Lauren! I will be running another giveaway soon so keep checking back or get in touch to be added to my mailing list, email: firstname.lastname@example.org

We were in Finsbury park yesterday for the Rage Against the Machine concert, in celebration of their UK Xmas no:1 single. I only bought the single because I didn't want the X factor winner to have another Xmas success, but my boyfriend is very much into them so off we trekked yesterday to go see them do their thang. I was over joyed to see that Roots Manover and Gogol Bordello (one of my fav bands) were playing too, Gogol is like a crazy gypsy electric punk band fronted by a guy with the coolest handlebar mustache in the world! They played a great set and RATM were pretty amazing too, they played loads of their classic songs. At 10:30 it was all over and 40,000 people spilled off the site to find their way home. The underground was shut because so many people were trying to use it and we had to walk miles and miles to find the next one, thank goodness for Google maps, thats all I can say!
Super Persia! An amazing little Cornershop we found when we were parched and seeking water! Don't remeber where it was but it was an Oasis for us in a time of great need!!! Thankyou Super Persia!
Been off the radar last few days making up stock for "Handmade Brighton" a contemporary art and craft fair at Komedia in Brighton, I have loads of new stock made up and will be uploading some more new items into the shop soon, like wire wrapped bracelets and loads of wire wrapped necklaces in different colour variations, my favourite is an all-bottle-green one as the wire really stands out against the darker hues. The Bag lady of Brighton will also be there with loads of amazing new bags, I popped by her flat earlier for a PVA emergency, I was making some new tags and ran out of glue, anyway she had many stylish new additions to her collection, there were so many I wanted for myself! The fair is on tomorrow, Saturday 5th June 11-4pm so pop by and say hey if your in the area...I'll be the one scoffing my face with cake probably! Always an activity I enjoy at craft fairs...and drinking all the tea! Goodbye, untill next time!
I came across Mika Organic recently, on the NEET blog, and fell in love with her collection, I love the illustrations, I love the colour, I love the style, I love the clever way she incorporates the pattern into the design of the piece, just love love love it all! And her clothes are all organic too, whats not to love?! My favourite pieces are the tree print dress and the birds nest dress.
I've blogged about NEET magazine before, its a great magazine covering a broad spectrum of illustration, crafts, fashion, photography, and articles about independent designers work. Published quarterly, the June Issue is online now and has a very "Where-The-Wild-Things-Are" feel to its cover image. Its a great read, I love looking at all the pretty pictures, both in the fashion features and also the adverts! There's also an interview with me in the the article "Green Motives" on page 110!
Hello! This is a really exciting blog about the trials and tribulations of establishing myself as a jewellery designer. The sort of jewellery designer that opens the Water bill and punches the air in joy, because she knows that it wont financially cripple her this month.
